Important News
FUNDRAISING: Plea to all parents! Please check with your employers if there are any grants, sponsorships or subsidies you can apply for to help us reach our fundraising goal. We cannot emphasise how important it is to grow the club to keep it going for the kids. We NEED new changing rooms. Thank you.
PARKING: Please use the club car parks for parking rather than the roads leading up to the Heathers for safety reasons.
SUMMER BREAK: Fantastic Effort from the kids so far these season, games restart from 7th September.
WELFARE OFFICER: If you have any welfare concerns regarding any of our children please speak to Hannah Makinson.
Sharlston Rovers Juniors as your chosen charity and shopping as normal. A percentage of the money spent comes back to the kids. www.easyfundraising.org.uk
LITTERPICK: We committed to carry out 5 Community litterpicks in return for £5,000 towards our Changing Room Fund. We will be carrying out litterpick number 2 on Sunday 11th August from 11am. It would be great to have as many parents and children as possible to show our gratitude to our sponsors. Please meet on the club park and we will split into teams from there. Gloves will be provided. Thank you.
ANNUAL GALA: This year’s Gala will take place on 31st August from 10am. Our Tots, U7’s and U8’s will all be playing. We are looking for volunteers to help run the barbeque, cake stall etc. In addition, if you have any Tombola or Raffle prizes we would love to take these off your hands. Thank you.

END OF SEASON TROPHY SPONSORSHIP EVENT: Each Year we hold a sponsored event to cover the costs of our Trophy’s and presentation evenings. This year will be Tag Rugby on Saturday 14th September from 2pm. After the rugby we will be in the club for Bingo, an auction and lots more. Adults and kids are welcome to enter a team, 9 players per team. Adults £3 each to enter, kids will need a sponsor sheet with a minimum £10 in sponsors. Lots of other activities will be going on so get the date in your diary.
